Cosamin DS formula is a double strength joint supplement sold through multiple third party retailers and claiming to give you significantly greater results. They claim that it’s a pharmaceutical grade formula with chondroitin and glucosamine and easy to swallow capsules that will work better and longer. They even claim it’s the “#1 recommended brand by orthopedic surgeons and rheumatologists.” It all sounds pretty impressive, right?

Pros

Cosamin has chondroitin and glucosamine. These are essential to rebuilding your joints in order to reverse the effects of arthritis and therefore relieve pain in the future, also preventing it.

Cons

They only have 500mg and 400mg of these ingredients. Those are hardly amounts sufficient to show greater results, and they don’t have any anti inflammatories, which would actually be required to relieve pain now. In essence, they have one piece of the puzzle, and they don’t even really fulfill the greater requirements of that.

Conclusion

We would not recommend using Cosamin. It doesn’t measure up, it doesn’t give you any of the results you want. We highly doubt it would even rebuild the joints if used over extended periods of time, and you will continue to suffer now. Cosamin is lacking to say the least, and you would be far better off using something else.
